Product Details
BiPAP and CPAP is a device used for non-invasive ventilation for patients facing Obstructive Sleep Apnea (OSA). It is suitable for health care centers, Institutions, Transport, and Homecare. The machine has 2 types of pressures; BiPAP and CPAP. BiPAP as the name suggests gives two pressure values. One is for inhaling and the other is for exhaling which is termed as IPAP (Inspiratory Positive Airway Pressure) and EPAP (expiratory Positive Airway Pressure) respectively. These are the pressures that a patient inhales and exhales. It is used in the therapy of patients, suffering from sleep apnea, CORD, or for patients who need assistance in breathing. CPAP stands for Continuous Positive Airway Pressure, used to treat Obstructive Sleep Apnea Both these types deliver air through a mask to the patient’s airway. It helps the throat muscle from collapsing. Both machines help in breathing easily all night.
