Industrial automation greatly reduces the need for human sensory, human workforce and cost. With the rapid growth in the sensors, control and automation technologies many control systems such as Programmable Logic Controller (PLC), Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) are performing a significant role in the automation of industries by software and hardware tools.

Our final year project and this thesis have intentions to design and build a cost-effective Arduino based industrial controller. In the proposed system, controllers control the machinery parameters automatically and provide monitoring via HMI. The main objective of this study is to build lowest possible cost controller for industry specially for developing countries like Pakistan.
