IoT based Face Mask Detection and Temperature Sensing Barrier for prevention of Covid-19
A setup is designed using a Raspberry Pi 4, MLX90614 IR sensor, LCD and Servo motor with its driver circuit. Deep learning Algorithm CNN and Object detection model MobileNetV2 are used for face mask detection purpose. This model is trained oneself created dataset to get more reliable results. A web cam is used for capturing the image in a video stream. This system checks on two conditions; face mask and temperature detections. If proper mask is worn and the temperature is in the normal range, the barrier opens otherwise it stays closed and the buzzer beeps with a message displayed on an LCD that mask not detected.
